The website www.easig.md, hereinafter easig.md, is managed by BAR MGP BROKER SRL, tax code 1008600020368. eAsig.md is an electronic platform where offers from partner sellers of insurance products are displayed.

The Insured

The person whose health, civil liability, or property is insured under the insurance contract.

User

The person who uses the website www.easig.md, purchases insurance products, and has the legal capacity and legal age according to the law to conclude an insurance contract.

Insurer

A legal entity registered in the Republic of Moldova that, under the provisions of this law, holds a license to conduct insurance (reinsurance) activities.

Insurance Contract

The legal act through which the insured undertakes to pay a premium to the insurer, who assumes the insured risk and commits to paying compensation or the insured amount to the insured or a third party in case of the occurrence of the insured event.

General insurance conditions.

The contractual clauses issued by the insurer, which are an integral part of the insurance contract and regulate the rights and obligations of the parties in the insurance contract.

Rovineta

The road tax is a fee paid by drivers for the right to circulate on the national road network outside cities or within the administrative boundaries of counties and municipalities. The road vignette must be paid for any vehicle circulating on Romanian national roads, regardless of whether the vehicle is registered in Romania or other countries, and regardless of whether the driver resides in Romania.

Delivery.

A free auxiliary service offered by eAsig.md, which involves the transportation of insurance contracts to the client. The delivery is carried out under the conditions specified in the "Delivery Terms."

Partner sellers.

Insurance companies and insurance intermediaries that meet legal requirements and have the right to conduct insurance and insurance brokerage activities. Entities licensed by the National Bank of Moldova in the issuance of electronic money and payment services (hereinafter BNM), as well as express courier service providers. Partner sellers can be found in the "Partners" section available on this website.

Information system.

The IT and programming devices that collaborate with each other, ensuring the processing, storage, as well as sending and receiving data through the telecommunication network.

Provision of services by electronic means.

The provision of services that occur through the sending and receiving of data using IT systems, upon the individual request of the User, without the physical presence of the parties at the same time.

Insurance intermediary.

A natural person or legal entity that conducts insurance intermediary activities in exchange for a fee and is qualified as an insurance broker, insurance agent, or bancassurance agent.

Page usage and information protection.

The website www.easig.md can only be used by individuals who have full legal capacity, meaning they exercise their rights and assume obligations directly, performing legal acts personally.

The use of the website is possible if the JavaScript service is activated in the User's web browser and cookies are used for "smart" communication with the easig.md servers.

The website is protected using encrypted connectors with the https protocol. The transfer of personal data and the authorization process, if used, take place using the TLS security protocol with 256-bit encryption. BAR MGP BROKER SRL makes every effort to ensure the security of the transmitted data.

Application and acceptance of terms.

The website www.easig.md presents offers from partner sellers of insurance products.

The website, services, and content of easig.md are offered to you conditionally upon your acceptance without any modifications to the terms of this agreement. If you do not accept the terms and conditions outlined in this document, do not use the easig.md website and the services provided through it.

Description of services.

eAsig.md provides users with access to a database containing price offers for insurance products and allows the possibility to study the insurance conditions from partner sellers. eAsig.md acts as an intermediary in the online distribution of insurance products and the publication of information provided by partner sellers.

The conclusion of the insurance contract through the easig.md platform will be made based on the following:

This document "Terms and Conditions".
The user's request for an offer.
The offers communicated to the User by the partner sellers of easig.md.
The insurance conditions of the partner sellers.

After reviewing the information contained in this document and choosing a specific insurance product, the user is obligated to carefully and fully analyze the content of the insurance conditions:

The user will complete (by entering data) the form for the Offer Request by selecting the "Insurance Calculator" option. Based on the information provided by the user, the IT system calculates the insurance premium.
The insurance premium calculated by the user through the insurance calculator will be verified and confirmed by the authorized person of the partner seller of easig.md during working hours. The premium may vary depending on the accuracy of the data entered by the user and the exchange rate (for products whose premium is calculated in foreign currency).
If the User agrees with the value of the insurance premium calculated by the IT system, they will have access to the subsequent steps. By entering the necessary data to obtain the Offer, the User implicitly confirms the following:
- He/she agrees with the terms and conditions contained in this document.
- He/she has acknowledged and agrees with the general and specific insurance conditions related to the chosen type of insurance.
- The data and information provided are accurate at the time of entry; the user must ensure that the entered data is correct and has the possibility to modify it if errors are noticed.
- He/she expresses consent for the processing of their personal data. The user may give consent for the processing of personal data to be used for marketing activities. This statement is not mandatory for the conclusion of the insurance contract.
The IT system analyzes the User's Offer Request and will automatically save the insurance offer, which includes detailed information about the insurance contract as well as information about the value and payment methods of the insurance premium.
If the User agrees with the offer from the insurance company or the insurance broker, they will choose the payment method for the insurance premium. The insurance premium is paid directly to the account of the insurance company or its representative.

We emphasize the importance of the accuracy of the user's contact information. If the insurance premium has been paid online, but the customer could not be reached, the money will be refunded to the customer within 3 working days! The responsibility for entering contact data such as phone number, email, and order notes lies entirely with the user of the site.

The conclusion of the electronic insurance contract takes place when the insurance premium or the first installment is credited to the indicated bank account, or when the payment is confirmed (for online payments). The insurance policy will become effective on the date established by the contract, but no earlier than the date of payment of the insurance premium/first installment and the collection of the premium in the insurance company's account.

Insurance policies issued through electronic means.

Electronic medical insurance.

It is accessible to the Insured only in electronic version.
After the order is paid, the policy registration in the system takes place within 10 minutes.
If, after successful payment, the policy has not been received at the indicated email address, the User is required to access the following link: policy verification and download the policy. If unsuccessful, please contact the call center at 022 930191.
The validity of the insurance policy is confirmed here. The online insurance policy (issued through electronic means at a distance) is subject to the special legal regulations in force regarding commercial transactions through electronic means, and its signing by the Insured/Policyholder is not required. eAsig sends the Client the contract and the insurance policy, the latter being signed by the partner seller. The Client may request from easig the insurance contract with the partner seller's handwritten signature and the applied wet stamp. In this case, the client will need to present themselves at the address mun. Chişinău, str. M. Kogalniceanu 73/2, bd. Cuză-Vodă, 51/1, bd. Mircea cel Bătrân 27B, during working hours.

RCA products issued through electronic means.

After the product is paid, the request will be processed by an eAsig operator, and if all data is correctly entered (premium calculation, vehicle details, insured's details, etc.), the insurance policy will be sent by the operator to the user's email. For issuing RCA contracts, operator involvement is required, therefore, policies will only be issued during the company's working hours.

Rovineta

The rovinieta purchasing service is provided by "PAYNET SERVICES" SRL (hereinafter referred to as the distributor), which is an authorized distributor. The distributor will issue the rovinieta based on the order details if they meet the conditions for issuing the rovinieta, after payment confirmation. The distributor will provide the user with the client copy document confirming the issuance of the rovinieta. The user assumes responsibility for the data provided for any order submitted on the easig.md website. The user understands that it is not enough to submit a rovinieta issuance request but must wait for confirmation of the rovinieta issuance before driving on national roads. The distributor cannot be held responsible for any damages that the user or any third party may suffer as a result of the distributor fulfilling any of its obligations under the Order.

Modification of the rovinieta.

If errors are detected in the rovinieta, the user has a maximum of 60 minutes from the registration of the rovinieta to make corrections in the document. Only the registration number or vehicle chassis can be corrected.

The rovinieta cannot be canceled.

Protection of personal data.

Processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the legal provisions of the Republic of Moldova (See the Personal Data Protection Policy).

In accordance with the provisions of LAW No. 133 of 08.07.2011 on the protection of personal data, BAR MGP BROKER SRL is obliged to manage personal data provided to it in a secure manner and to maintain the confidentiality of the data provided by individuals via the website www.easig.md, as stipulated by the provisions of the legislation on personal data protection, with subsequent amendments.

Intellectual property rights.

Affiliate/Brand promotion agent.

The unique referral URL link per order used by the brand promotion agent in the referral program to promote the brand and products of BAR MGP Broker SRL cannot be used in promotion campaigns through tools like Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms where MGP Broker SRL is independently promoted.

Disclaimer of liability.

eAsig.md is not liable for damages, conflicts/disputes between site users and partner sellers. If the user has entered incorrect data, the user must approach eAsig.md's office to request error removal. The authorized person of the partner seller will make the necessary changes, if possible, and if the error does not contradict the conditions in the "Termination of insurance contract" section. NB! eAsig.md will not deliver an additional insurance policy if the error was made by the site user.

Insurance contract termination

The termination can only be made before the contract comes into effect, otherwise, termination can only take place at the insurance company's headquarters and only under the conditions provided by the current legislation.

Attention!!! RCA and Green Card contracts with an insurance period shorter than 1 month, including, cannot be terminated!

The legal framework for the online issued insurance policy (via remote electronic means) is identical to that of traditional health insurance, consisting of the current legislation of the Republic of Moldova regarding the insurance system (Law no. 92 from 2022 on insurance and reinsurance activities), the Civil Code, and the general and specific insurance conditions corresponding to the chosen type of insurance. Additionally, the online regime of this product is regulated by Law 284 from 22.07.2004 on electronic commerce, and according to legal power, the electronic contract is equivalent to a written contract signed by the parties and authenticated with the parties' seals.
